Shadia writes and maintains the guides on Mesa Notes. The site started while planning a stay at Hotel Xcaret Mexico, when straight answers about hours, casas, and reservation rules were nowhere to be found, and grew into a full catalog of the property: every restaurant and bar, the parks, the wedding process, and a hand-traced walking map.

When a fact cannot be confirmed, the field stays blank and the venue gets flagged for review. No invented menus, no invented prices. That is the standard behind every guide signed here.
