Íbamos a casarnos en el Hotel Xcaret Mexico en 2020. El COVID acabó con eso. No nos devolvieron el dinero; nos dieron un crédito con fecha de vencimiento, y el COVID tampoco nos dejó usarlo.
Este junio por fin regresamos. Una tarde, caminando junto al agua, vimos a un equipo acomodando sillas para la ceremonia de alguien más en Caleta Fuego, la misma caleta que nosotros habíamos elegido. Parados ahí, lo primero que volvió no fue la decepción. Fue lo difícil que había sido planearla.
Nunca tuvimos la boda en Xcaret, pero la investigación sí la hicimos. Aquí está, actualizada y verificada. Te presentamos todo y luego te guiamos por el proceso, paso a paso.

TL;DR
- The package is not the full price. Paraíso runs about $16,750 for 30 guests. Real weddings here land closer to $36,000.
- You have to book a block of rooms. 11 most days, 20 on Fridays, 25 on Saturdays. And 80% of your guests must stay at the hotel.
- You can add guests later. You can never remove them. Start low.
- Biggest savings: give your outside vendors a room in your block for 3 nights. Their $870 to $1,500 fees go away.
- Book 12 to 18 months out. Once your date is confirmed, you have about 10 days to sign for the rooms.
