Xcaret's contact form only asks six questions, so their first reply usually asks a dozen more. Fill this out once and send them everything up front, in English and Spanish. You'll get a real quote faster.

This is the information the resort will ask you for anyway. Everything stays on your device; we never see it or send it anywhere.
Step 2 · Your email, both languages
The ten questions are added for you. Emails in Spanish tend to get answered faster; sending both never hurts.

The ten questions, one by one
These are already in your email above. Here's why each one matters, and a checkbox to track which ones the resort has actually answered.
Why this matters
One source says 16% tax plus a 15% to 20% service charge gets added on top of the package price. Nobody else mentions it. On a $16,750 package that could be an extra $5,000.
Why this matters
Rates run $220 to $240 today and go up every year. An old number times 20 extra guests is real money.
Why this matters
When we cancelled in 2020 we got a credit with an expiration date, not a refund, and the same pandemic that forced the cancellation kept us from using it. No source publishes a cancellation policy. Get it in writing before you wire anything.
Why this matters
Sources conflict between 30% and 50%. On Paraíso with 20 extra guests that is a $4,200 difference in what you wire on day one.
Why this matters
Some say all outdoor music stops at 11pm. The resort's own FAQ says venues close at 4am except the ones near guest rooms. Those aren't the same rule, and the difference could decide your venue.

We found the same venue listed at 100, 150, and 350 people by three different sources. Get the real chart before you plan.
Why this matters
Other sources list venues that hold 150 or more, so the cap may not be real. If your list is over 80, settle this before you send save-the-dates.
Why this matters
Fees run $870 to $1,500 per outside vendor. One real couple paid $2,870 in fees they could have avoided, and the vendor rooms count toward your minimum anyway.
Why this matters
Reports say $90 for guests; the official FAQ quotes $100 for vendors. With 10 non-staying guests the gap is only $100, but you want the rule, not the guess.
Why this matters
There is no published rain-call deadline and no guaranteed backup venue. One couple's ceremony moved gracefully; another was pushed indoors on a low-probability forecast and resented it. Get the answer in the contract.
